These days many students competating in national level tests who are the first generation educators. They do not have sufficient information on OBC though they are low income group as well belongs to backward communities in the state level. Keeping in view these defects I herewith keep information to upcomming youth to benefit from this who has opportunity to it.

As per OM No.36012/22/93-Estt.(SCT) dated 8th september 1993 creamy layer  is 1 lakh & above

As per OM No.36033/3/2004-Estt.(Res.) dated 09.03.2004 was revised to Rs.2.5 lakhs & above

As per OM No.36033/3/2004-Estt.(Res.) dated 14.10.2008 was revised to Rs.4.5 lakhs & above.

Creamy layer group are the sons & daughters of persons whose gross annual income of 6 lakhs & above for a period of three consecutive years. They would not be entitled to get benefit of reservation available to the Other Backward Classes. This limit comes into effect from 16 th may 2013. This is as per Office memorandum No.36033/1/2013-Estt.(Res.), Government of India, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training Dated 27th May 2013.
